Thank you for a great season!
The Hussey House was built for Uriel Hussey and his family in 1795 and has been run by various generations of the Johnson/Ross family since the 1940's.
Steeped in history, the Hussey House has been carefully and lovingly restored in old Nantucket charm with its original wide floorboards, crooked floors & door frames, many lovely antiques, plaster walls and ceilings, and decorative fireplaces in every room.
The Hussey House is located downtown - just a few blocks from Main Street, ferries, restaurants, shops, churches, and in-town beaches.
There are various public spaces throughout the guest house. A comfortable living room with fireplace on the first floor, a sitting room on the second floor and spacious yard and garden with bike racks and lounge chairs.
The Hussey House features five comfortable, airy rooms all with private baths. Each room offers private bath with shower, air-conditioning (in season June 15-Sept 15), television, hair dryers, iron/ironing board, earth-friendly bath amenities. Beach towels are also available.
We are sorry, but we do not provide parking. Downtown has street parking, subject to 2-hour time restrictions from 7am-6pm daily through September 30th.
